Fight Crime: Invest in Kids is a national organization of law enforcement leaders who advocate for scientifically proven early childhood programs which are shown to reduce delinquency and criminal behavior in children. It is made up of over 5,000 prosecutors, police chiefs, sheriffs, and violence survivors.
Ostergren stated, "Senator Grassley is a true leader in this area. He understands that investments in proven early childhood programs produce better outcomes for children and save money for taxpayers in the long term. I was proud to present this award to him and look forward to working with him on these issues in the future."
